Product Manager

What will I be doing?

As a Product Manager at ProQuest, you will be utilizing your project management experience and skills to contribute to several functional areas across ProQuest. The Product Manager is ultimately responsible for driving quality products from concept to market.

In this position, you will also...

• Document and prioritize clear and measurable product requirements.
• Manage the development and launch of new features and functionality through the entire product development lifecycle process.
• Engage with customers and end users to define market problems and solutions.
• Prioritize and sequence multiple aspects of product development, enhancement, and maintenance.
• Make data-driven recommendations for improvement of product performance including pricing, bundling, and marketing strategy.
• Write product requirements and user stories.
• Own topline for product lines and contribute to content plan and budget.

Qualified Candidates must have…

• Bachelors’ degree or higher
• At least two years working in some form of project management.
• Good communication and active listening skills.
• Experience using data to drive simple decisions and establishing relevant metrics.
• Basic understanding of financial modeling and ROI.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of ProQuest’s key markets.
• Willingness to go out of your comfort zone—for example, by picking up the phone and calling customers.
• Has effective presence to inspire confidence of colleagues.

Superstar Candidates will ALSO have…

• Familiarity with Google Analytics
• Knowledge of or experience working in K12 market

Other important information about this position:

• This position is based in the Ann Arbor, MI ProQuest office location.
• This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours. Occasional travel may be required.
