Job Description

As a member of the Go-to-Market Implementation team, the Regional Marketing Specialist defines, owns, executes and reports on marketing campaign and events strategies and deliverables for ProQuest solutions.  This role will be based in the Cambridge office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages campaign and events development, execution, and measurement of demand generation, lead acquisition, and lead nurturing programs; driving interest in ProQuest solutions and advancing prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams from sales, product, market development, and enterprise marketing to ensure best outcomes.
    • Campaigns - Designs, implements and nurtures /product campaigns in coordination with key stakeholders; project manages campaign execution.
    • Events - Coordinates tradeshows, roadshows and customer events within the region working closely with the Senior Regional Marketing Manager to manage the tradeshows program and budget for the region. Lead generation and handling, monitor and report on tradeshow results, metrics and ROI on an ongoing basis. Management of tradeshow related logistics as required (including shipping, hotel bookings). Assist with researching and submitting speaking opportunities. Creation of ad-hoc marketing collateral for events; delegate inserts, flyers, working with external design agencies as well as internal departments, as needed.

    • Resource Management and Scheduling - Develops and maintains calendar of activities, requirements for execution of scheduled deliverables and resources needed to execute against plan; generates detailed plan including deliverables and calendar of activities.
    • Production of Deliverables - Coordinates enterprise resources for production and execution including creative, writing, translations, operations, and communications. Serves as editor/writer to tailor messages that support deliverables.
    • Reporting - Provides monthly dashboard metrics and reports of activities and results for ROI analysis by channel, by campaign, by region, by product; includes rollup of regional results.
  • Participates in and contributes to the annual marketing planning and ongoing campaign planning process. Collaborates with Marketing and Sales team to create campaigns that support acquisition of customers in new segments and verticals.
  • Develops, manages, and executes integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging a broad marketing mix including digital, email, advertising, events, social media and PR.
  • Maintains accurate record of marketing campaigns and tactics using the designated Marketing Resource Management tool
  • Builds and monitors campaigns leveraging Salesforce and marketing automation platforms as well as other internal marketing templates and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years’ B2B marketing experience, with two years direct experience in campaign and promotional program management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strategic, creative, collaborative and be able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on company strategic marketing goals.

  • Superior project management and organization skills, with ability to execute multiple, complex campaigns, while also managing and motivating internal stakeholders to strict campaign timelines.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and juggle competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation tools (i.e.: Marketo, Act On, Silver pop, etc.).

  • Capacity to learn and master new technology and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Fluent in English and French.
