UI Developer
What will I be doing?

Supporting our Pi2 software for medical and pharmaceutical monitoring, you will join this talented team in rewriting the UI to make a good product great. The team hosts 20-minute daily standups, does builds, and code reviews. You’ll be programming in Angular, building on top of .Net API services. Using GitHub for source code depository and AWS for deployments. Our UI Engineers dig in and contribute to backend development and coding, collaborating with the UX Designer on frontend wire-framing and other application design.

In this position, you will also..

• Implement software for specifications of high complexity 
• Manually test and unit test all relevant applications.
• Participate as a team member on various engineering projects, and lead small projects.
• Implement design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization.
• Respond to direct or indirect customer inquiries regarding function and design and attend customer meetings.
• Suggest alternative methodologies or techniques to achieve superior results.
• Review and revise new procedures as needed
• Provide technical training to other team members.
• Maintains knowledge of tech trends and evaluate new hardware/software for company use.

Qualified Candidates must have…

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

• 1 or more years’ experience developing User Interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and other industry standard technologies.

• Experience in multiple device development.

• Experience in cross browser development.

• A basic understanding of accessibility in websites and best practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships.

• Capacity to learn and master new technologies and skills.
