Senior Software Engineer
 
What will I be doing?

This is a customer facing app that enables and accelerates monitoring of academic literature for adverse drug interactions.  Our job is to help our customers discover these interactions, triage them, and route them to the proper researchers and agencies for response.  This is important work, and is making a real difference in the safety of pharmaceuticals.
You will be working on a team of talented software engineers. We believe in the power of highly engaged teams, and the value of the whole team.  We work collaboratively with the business and sales organizations, using techniques like Scrum and Kanban to keep us focused on building the right solutions.

In this position, you will also..

• Participate as a team member on various engineering projects occasionally leading small to medium sized projects
• Implement design changes to improve quality, performance, cost, and standardization
• Attend customer meetings and respond to direct or indirect customer inquiries 
• Review and revise new procedures as needed for the continuing development of high quality systems.
• Provide technical training to other team members.
• Maintains knowledge of new technology and evaluate new hardware / software for company use.

Qualified Candidates must have…
• Bachelors’ degree or higher in related field plus at least 6 years of software development experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to learn and master standard programming languages (.Net is preferred)
• Ability to write functional / detailed design specifications based on user or system requirements.
• Ability to work with standard office tools.
• Ability to work with source control systems
