What will I be doing?

As a Sr. Reporting Analyst on the Global Content Alliances team, you will use data and analytical skills to support the work of the alliance managers, decision making of the GCA management team, content and book publishing partners, and other stakeholders across the organization through the provision of accurate and timely reporting, e.g., sales, royalty, usage and other key metrics. 


In this position, you will also…

• Generate regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support GCA’s Management and Alliance Managers.

• Manage Publisher Central (publisher portal); serve as liaison to Product Management for direction on enhancements to portal and QRD reports. 

• Successfully navigate through multiple systems and databases to obtain necessary data for analysis.

• Serve as department Salesforce liaison to Ann Arbor-based Salesforce administration team; recommend enhancements; provide reports for GCA team.

• Generate comprehensive trade show reports for GCA Management and Alliance Managers.

• Think strategically and apply analytical skills to identify trends to aid in decision-making.

• Creatively visualize data in a variety of formats to provide relevant and persuasive insights.

• Liaise as required with other relevant departments in the business to obtain data and solve problems.

• Aid in creating presentation materials for GCA Management and Alliance managers.


Qualified Candidates must have…

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field, such as business, finance or economics, plus at least 2 to 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Excellent researching and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile and order data.

• Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to professionally interact with multiple individuals and groups within the organization to foster positive working relationships.

• Capacity to learn and master new technology.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Effective time management skills.


It would be awesome if you also had…

• Prior experience using Salesforce 

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as, Tableau, Power BI, etc.


Other important information about this position:

• This position is based in ProQuest’s Ann Arbor, MI office location.

• This position requires weekday attendance with some flexibility around core working hours.

• Occasional travel is required.
