What will I be doing?

As Supervisor for one of our Content Teams, you will have direct supervisor responsibilities for the group. This team is responsible for entering the relevant data into the Rights Management System. This data inclues reading through contracts and entering the the titles and catalogue information as well as the rights and restrictions. 

This role is a great fit for you if you have an understanding of Intellectual Property and a success track record of leading a team. 
 
In this position, you will also…
• Responsible for hiring, training and developing staff to meet departmental targets.
• Monitor direct report’s performance against production standards and creates metrics for measurements of success at individual levels.
• Coordinate closely with product management team as needed.
• Assure the delivery or product within established scope and purpose.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and other deadlines.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere within the group.
• Facilitate workflow.
• Work with vendors to ensure exported content meets requirements for delivery of content packages.

Qualified Candidates must have…
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field, such as Information Science, Business, or Computer Science, plus at least 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands on leadership experience in operations, libraries, customer service, or a similar environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to meet deadlines.
 
Superstar Candidates will ALSO have…
• Masters’ degree in Library Science or related field.
